An Introduction To Blues Dancing - Part I

This is the first in a series of Intro to Blues Dance workshops with Lewis in Cork. Learn tips, tools & techniques to give you the confidence to get up and dance to a blues song. We will explore foundational aspects of partner dancing, look at rhythm, musicality, the historic roots of Blues and get you connected to your breathe, your feeling body, your partner and the music. My intention is to support you to cultivate a more authentic connection within your blues dance which can positively impact all of your dancing.

WHO IS IT FOR?

• No experience of Blues or partner dancing necessary.

• Those with experience who want to go over some foundations of partner dancing.

• No partner required

• No need to sign up as a couple - we will be working on fundamentals and swapping roles
